Terms of service

Last updated September 7, 2026.

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are an agreement between you and TechTide AI, of Columbus, Ohio, United States, which operates ShipReady. By running a Launch Risk Check or buying any product on this site, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company.

2. The free Launch Risk Check

The free check reads the public pages and JavaScript bundles of a URL you submit. It does not sign in, does not use credentials, and does not attempt to modify anything. Before you submit a URL you must confirm that you own the application or are authorized by its owner to test it. That confirmation is a condition of using the check. If you submit a URL you have no right to test, you are responsible for the consequences and we may refuse service.

3. What our findings are, and are not

Every finding is labelled as observed, declared, or not verified. Observed means we saw it directly against your live application. Declared means you told us. Not verified means the item requires code, runtime, or authenticated access that the free check does not have.

ShipReady is not a penetration test and is not a certification. No automated check can prove an application has no problems. The absence of a finding means only that our checks did not observe one. You remain responsible for your own application, your own data handling, and your own compliance obligations.

4. Paid products

  • Release Gate, 49 dollars. A one-time purchase giving you the launch checklist and repository guardrail files, downloadable from your library, with versioned updates included.
  • Launch Review, 199 dollars. A one-time purchase. After you submit the intake form, you receive a written review and a recorded walkthrough of roughly 15 minutes within three business days. The three business days start when your intake is complete, not at the moment of payment. The 199 dollars is credited toward a Hardening Sprint booked within 30 days.
  • Hardening Sprint, 1,750 dollars. A one-time purchase, paid in full at checkout, covering seven business days of work. The sprint begins with a written scope confirmation naming three to five priority fixes with acceptance criteria and explicit exclusions. No work starts until you confirm that scope in writing. Anything outside the confirmed list is a written change order with a price agreed before work begins.

5. Your responsibilities during paid work

Paid work depends on you providing accurate information, timely access to what you agree to share, and responses to questions within a reasonable time. If a sprint stalls because access or answers are not available, the schedule moves accordingly. We advise you to keep working backups of your application and data before any change is applied. Final judgment on what to deploy always rests with you.

6. Accounts

Access to purchases requires an account tied to your email address. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to that address. Keep access to that mailbox under your control. You are responsible for activity under your account.

7. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in United States dollars and exclude any taxes that apply to you. Refund terms for each product are set out on the refund policy page and form part of this agreement.

8. Intellectual property

The Release Gate materials, the review documents, and the site content are ours. On purchase you get a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use them inside your own business and your clients' projects. You may not resell them, republish them publicly, or distribute them as your own product. Code we write for you during a Hardening Sprint belongs to you once the invoice is paid.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use ShipReady to test applications you do not own or are not authorized to test, to attempt to disrupt this service, to submit URLs designed to make our checks attack a third party, or to break any law that applies to you. We may suspend access for any of these.

10. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to ShipReady is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, and the courts of Franklin County, Ohio have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and material changes are emailed to account holders. Questions go to Alex@techtideai.io.
